Information Sessions
The Adult Re-Entry Program offers general information sessions to help guide you and empower you with vital information so that you can make good informed decisions about your education.  This orientation to student services compliments the new student orientation.  You will have an opportunity to meet and ask questions to representatives from many of the student service departments that are on campus to help you succeed.  The information session are offered prior to the start of the Spring and Fall Terms. Many students find this information valuable, useful and have used what they learn to connect to beneficial student service. 
Students will receive a variety of information and resources about College of the Canyons to assist them: such as Associate Degree, Certificates, and Transfer Requirement Information, Assessment, Campus Resources, Training to navigate the many online services available, and much more! The Information session will provide you with an opportunity to meet other students just like you and develop a network with them. It is your chance to ask questions and casually discuss your concerns or worries.
These sessions are facilitated by the Director of the Adult Reentry Program. A Counselor and a representative from the Admissions and Records Office will be presenting on each of their unique perspectives, they will provide the most pertinent information you need to know about each of their departments.  A number of other student services will also be available, such as the Student Business Office, Financial Aid office, EOPS, DSPS, Career Center and University center.  This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and get information.  Please join us, you are sure to learn something and it may make a big difference in you achieving your goals.
