Canyons Peer Advisors 

Canyons Peer Advisors (CPA) are a group of students who represent Student Services under the auspices of the Student Success and Support Program.
CPA’s provide outreach to new and continuing students through the following activities:
· Teaching students how to use campus resources to navigate a path toward educational goals.
· Advising students how best to use the college's programs and services to identify the relationship between major and career.
· Personalizing the contact between college services and students by identifying student needs and providing appropriate referrals.
Canyons Peer Advisors engage with students to help make the college experience meaningful, positive, and directed.  CPA’s receive weekly in-depth and ongoing training enabling them to remain current with campus policy, programs, and resources.
From our mobile stations at five locations at the Valencia and Canyon Country campuses, CPA’s provide students instruction on how to navigate the college website, understand policies and procedures, and connect to campus resources.  Students can easily walk up and ask us any questions whenever they might need assistance.
